Today my iMac came via FedEx Express. I followed the 16.3 kg box from Shanghai to Anchorage to Indianapolis to Memphis to Las Vegas to Cedar City.
As you might understand I was a bit excited to unveil my newest addition.
I have been an Apple fan for a few years (thanks to my little big brother Adrian) and will never stop. It is a true conversion. If it is not treading on blasphemy too much, I have a true testimony of Macintosh. My iMac boasts 4 GB RAM, 24" display, 1 TB of Hard drive, iLife '08, and one of those amazing little keyboards that are literally wafer-thin.
My lovely wife was present at the "unboxing" and took a few snapshots that will hitherto be posted on this very blog. Of course, she realizes that she does have some competition in the house. All joking aside, we are both very happy to have the iMac.
In other news:
We moved into a townhome on the southside of Cedar City. We are still renting, because we don't plan on being here too long. Jaynann will soon be graduating and we will want to get her to graduate school in her profession which is Wig Design and Build. She is very talented at it and has been offered several jobs in Las Vegas (doing Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage) and New York (doing some off-Broadway or Broadway show).
Anywho.
Thanks for listening.
